Note for PPC Members Reading Notices in Kilcoole:
Arrive early, the Introduction and Notices should be in Sacristy. Take a guide from Priest as to time to start. Also have a word with Choir (if there is one) just in case they are not expecting you. You need to do Introduction before they start entrance hymn. Notices are usually read after Prayers of the Faithful.
Each Friday during Lent (incl Good Friday), join with other parishioners in a Taizé Prayer service taking place in St. Kilian’s Church Blacklion, from 8pm to 9pm.
Singing is one of the most essential elements of worship. Short songs, repeated again and again, give it a meditative character.
All are welcome.
Mass time changes due to parades are as follows:
St. Patrick’s Church, Kilquade Noon changed to 10:00am
Holy Rosary Church, Greystones 11:30am changed to 10:00am
All other Mass times as NORMAL
Thursday morning Masses throughout Lent: There will be no 10:00am Mass.
9:30am Mass in St. Joseph’s, Newtownhountkennedy will continue as usual.
